Electric car rental: which companies, how much, charging rules (2026)
In Türkiye you can rent an electric car by the day through Sixt, Enterprise, Garenta, Avis and Yolcu360, and by the month through Voltify and SIXT+. Among those that publish prices, monthly subscriptions start from 49,950 TL + KDV (VAT). Age and licence requirements are higher for electric classes; charging is mostly paid by the renter, and contracts tie the charge level at return to the fuel clause.

Short answer
For daily rental, Sixt, Enterprise, Garenta and Avis have electric cars in their fleets; comparison sites such as Yolcu360 also list the Togg. For monthly rental, Voltify and SIXT+ offer electric cars on a subscription model; kasko (comprehensive insurance), compulsory traffic insurance, MTV (motor vehicle tax) and maintenance are included in the package.
Before renting, clarify two things: who pays for charging, and at what charge level you must return the car. None of the contracts we reviewed sets a charge level specific to electric cars; the matter is tied to the "same fuel level" clause.

How does charging work on a rented electric car?
- Charging is usually paid by the renter: Avis and Yolcu360 state this explicitly; cars are not handed over with a charging card. Install the apps of networks such as Trugo, ZES and Eşarj on your phone before renting.
- Return level: the Garenta, Sixt+ and Enterprise contracts only say "same fuel level"; any shortfall is charged (Garenta adds a 40% service fee to the shortfall amount). Photograph the charge percentage at pickup and have it written into the contract.
- Voltify subscribers get a 10% discount code at ZES; the charging cable supplied with the car must also be handed back on return.
- At public stations, prices may only be charged in TL/kWh; Şarj@TR, the app of EPDK (Energy Market Regulatory Authority), shows all licensed stations, their prices and availability.
