How far does the BYD Atto 2 really go?
The Atto 2 was sold in Türkiye with a 45.1 kWh battery: 312 km WLTP combined and 463 km WLTP city range. The small battery is enough in town but means frequent charging on long trips; DC charging power is limited to 65 kW, so 10% to 80% takes 37 minutes.
Green NCAP, Europe's independent environmental test programme, measured an average grid consumption of 21.9 kWh/100 km (charging losses included) on an Atto 2 with the same 130 kW / 312 km specification as the Turkish version, and calculated its range at about 244 km. On the motorway section, consumption rose to 30.4 kWh/100 km and the range calculated by Green NCAP fell to about 164 km.
