Power: the highest charging power the network reports for the point. Time: at a typical power for the class (40 kW / 60 kW / 120 kW / 200 kW / 250 kW), for a car that can take the station's full power; if your car's maximum DC power is lower, it takes longer. Frequently asked questions

What is a fast charging station?

A fast charging station delivers direct current (DC) straight to the car's battery. With AC charging at home or in a car park the car's own on-board charger converts the current and power is usually limited to 11–22 kW; with DC fast charging the conversion happens in the station, so power goes from 50 kW up to 400 kW. In Türkiye the fast-charging socket is almost always CCS2; some older points also have CHAdeMO.

How many fast charging stations are there in Türkiye?

As of 19 October 2026, Türkiye has 7,578 public DC fast-charging points, 43% of all 17,599 charging points. 3,988 points deliver 150 kW or more. There are fast chargers in all 81 provinces; İstanbul (1,545), Ankara (833) and Antalya (356) have the most.

How long does fast charging take?

Charging a 60 kWh battery from 10% to 80% takes about 45 minutes at a 60 kW station, 25 minutes at 120 kW and 20 minutes at 180 kW. The real limit is the maximum DC power the car accepts: a car capped at 100 kW also charges at 100 kW on a 300 kW station. Power drops sharply above 80%, so on the road it is fastest to charge to 80% and drive on.

How much does fast charging cost?

According to the rates published by the charging networks, DC fast charging costs 11.99–15.90 ₺ per kWh. The price depends on the network; within the same network points above 150 kW (HPC) are sometimes more expensive. Current rates for each network and a cost calculator are on the charging prices page.

Which is the fastest charging station in Türkiye?

The highest power in the data is 720 kW. 12 points offer it, for example Çeşme Otoyolu - Çeşme Yönü Urlamall (İzmir, En Yakıt). The listed power is the highest the network reports for the point; if your car accepts less, it charges at that lower power. The 20 most powerful points are listed on this page.

Does fast charging damage the battery?

The car's battery management system limits power by temperature and state of charge, so occasional fast charging and fast charging on trips do not noticeably harm the battery. Preferring AC charging day to day, not charging to 100% all the time and preconditioning the battery before charging in cold weather protect its life.
