Electric car loans 2026: BDDK limits, term, interest and sample instalment
For electric cars developed and produced in Türkiye (in practice, Togg), a loan of up to 70% of the price can be used with a 48-month term if the invoice amount is up to 2.5 million TL. Imported electric cars are subject to the general vehicle loan rules: if the invoice exceeds 2 million TL, no loan can be granted. Short answer
The ratio and term of a vehicle loan are limited by decisions of the BDDK (Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency) according to the vehicle's invoice amount. There is a wider limit for cars with only an electric motor that are developed and produced in Türkiye: 70% and 48 months on invoices up to 2.5 million TL. In practice, this covers Togg.
Imported electric cars and hybrids, on the other hand, are subject to the general rules, which have not changed since 2022: for vehicles above 400,000 TL, the ratio and term fall quickly, and no loan can be granted on an invoice exceeding 2 million TL.

The instalments are Şarj Rehberim's calculation, made with the equal-instalment loan formula on the assumption that the TCMB average excludes taxes; the actual instalment is determined by the bank's offer.
