Electric SUVs with three rows of seats
For large families, the three-row electric SUV options are the Peugeot E-5008 (from 3,573,500 TL, 454–472 km), the BYD Tang (5,418,000 TL, 530 km), the Hyundai IONIQ 9 (from 6,040,000 TL, up to 620 km) and the Kia EV9 (from 6,540,000 TL, up to 563 km). Because they are large and heavy, their real range can fall even further below WLTP: by Green NCAP's calculation, the EV9 goes about 436 km in mixed use in mild weather and about 289 km in cold winter weather.

What to look for when buying an electric SUV
- ÖTV bracket: ÖTV (special consumption tax) is 25% on electric SUVs of up to 160 kW with a pre-tax price of up to 1,650,000 TL; the same model with a more powerful motor can move up to the 75% bracket. Most of the price difference is tax.
- Real range: an SUV body is taller and wider, so it goes less far than a sedan or hatchback with the same battery. Expect about 80% of WLTP in mixed use and 60–65% on the motorway in winter.
- Charging speed: 800-volt models such as the Hyundai IONIQ 5, IONIQ 9 and Kia EV9 charge noticeably faster at high-power DC stations; this matters for those who often take long trips.
- Four-wheel drive: dual-motor versions are more powerful but usually have a shorter range and fall into a higher ÖTV bracket.
